Welcome to the Learn Hindi Podcast! - Lesson 1

Welcome friends to Namaste Dosti, the Learn Hindi Podcast.
I have been looking around for a good Hindi podcast and could not find one - so I decided to create my own. With the help of my Hindi speaking friends, we will try to provide an interesting and effective podcast to help you learn Hindi.

Listen here to the podcast.

Great News: The script for Lesson 1 is now available. No Hindi letters (Devanagari script) yet, but with time, we will add this as well...

More news: The first podcast is now available as youtube video! Check it out: Lesson 1 on youtube

I listed to several lessons today and they sound great. I can't wait to use my new found knowledge with my friends from India. How can I set up Itunes to automatically download (subscribe) to the feed each day?

Namaste,
Like other people that commented here, I too was searching for Hindi podcasts such as this. Thanks to Nathan Price of http://www.ISpeakHindi.com.
I have been receiving his podcasts and feeling inspired and today I noticed he gave a link to your podcast. Great. Thanks to you all.

You are wonderful wonderful people for doing this -- although whether itll help me with hardcore Bambaiya is another question.

Do you know how to get the mp3s from the first 7 lessons, lesson 8 is a bit beyond me and I need to catch up!

It's great to have women's voices speaking in your lessons. It just makes it easier to relate to, for me. I have tried learning Hindi in a few different places but have picked up some new stuff here already. Shabaash!

Hey I am also learning Hindi and I am loving it! It's amazing that it's actually not that hard as people actually think!

By the way, what's the name of the song used in the beginning of the podcast?
